The TPT1051 is a CAN transceiver that meets theISO11898 high-speed CAN (Controller Area Network)physical layer standard. The device is designed to be usedin CAN FD networks up to 5 Mbps, with enhanced timingmargin and higher data rates in long and highly loadednetworks. As designed, the device features crosswire,overvoltage, and loss of ground protection from −70 V to+70 V, over-temperature shutdown, with a −30 V to +30V common-mode input voltage range. The TPT1051V hasa secondary power supply input for I/O level shifting theinput pin thresholds and RXD output level. This family hasa silent mode which is also commonly referred to as thelisten-only mode. Additionally, all devices include manyprotection features to enhance the device and networkrobustness.The TPT1051 and TPT1051V are available in SOP8 andDFN3X3-8L packages and are characterized from −40°Cto +125°C.
