The TPT1145 is a CAN transceiver that meets theISO11898 high-speed CAN (Controller Area Network)physical layer standard. The device is designed to be usedin CAN FD networks up to 5 Mbps, with enhanced timingmargin and higher data rates in long and highly loadednetworks. As designed, the device features crosswire, overvoltage, and loss of ground protection from −70 Vto +70 V, over-temperature shutdown, and a −30-V to+30-V common-mode input voltage range. The TPT1145has a secondary power supply input for I/O level shiftingthe input pin thresholds and RXD output level. A serialperipheral interface (SPI) is provided for configuration andstatus retrieve. TPT1145 supports selective wake up andenables the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) to implementthe partial networking function which is operating in anactive state while it is in a low-power sleep mode. Thedevice comes with the standby mode, which can be wakedup from the CAN bus, and ultra-low power managementcontrols the ECU in standby and sleep modes, then enablethe power supply by inhibit output through the local orremote wake-up via wake-up pattern or wake-up frameidentification. TPT1145 includes many protection featuresto enhance device and network robustness. There are twoversions of the device, TPT1145Q and TPT1145NQ, thedifference between the two versions is that the Device IDis different.TPT1145 is available in SOP14 and DFN4.5X3.0-14Lpackages, and is characterized from –40°C to +125°C.
