The TPT1043 is a CAN transceiver that meets theISO11898 high-speed CAN (Controller Area Network)physical layer standard. The device is designed to beused in CAN FD networks up to 5 Mbps, with enhancedtiming margin and higher data rates in long and highlyloaded networks. As designed, the device features a –30-Vto +30-V common-mode range, CAN-Bus fault protectionfrom −70 V to +70 V, over-voltage protection, and overtemperature shutdown. TPT1043 has an I/O power supplyfor interface I/O to connect to microcontrollers with supplyvoltages from 2.8 V to 5.5 V. The device comes witha standby mode, which can be waked up from theCAN BUS. The ultra-low power management controlsthe Electronic Control Unit (ECU) in standby and sleepmodes. The device enables the power supply by the INHinterface through the local and remote wake-up with wakeup source recognition, and it includes many protectionfeatures to enhance the device and network robustness.The TPT1043 is available in SOP14 and DFN4.5X3.0-14Lpackages, and is characterized from −40°C to +125°C.
